Went out scouting this morn. In an area where there might be cams set. Did not find sign, but found someones cam. It was barely cracking daylight. And 100 yards away you could see a series of white LED lights blinking. We approached it and decided we were facing towards the back of it, and didn't set it off. It kept blinking. So we finished scouting, came back an hour later. It had stopped blinking. We thought is it sound actuated. So we snuck up on it, nothing! So we walked in front of it nothing.. So my question is, did we get to it, just as the battery was going dead, and that was indicator lights to let you know? It didn't make sense to blink like that taking a chance to scare things off. And we were clearly not in front of it, nor was anything else. Got any ideas? And the cam appeared that it may have been set by the sheriffs dept? There looks like there is a lot of cedar and maple being taken sporatically from the area. Maybe they are trying to catch thieves? This was in the capitol peak area.

Lol, "may have been" and "was" are totally different.  "May have been" is something that is possible.  "Was" is factual.
