Just got a call from the vet and they say she is feeling better. She ate this morning and hasn't thrown it back up which is good. Her blood work is showing more normal levels in her kidney counts which is a relief. They still can't say or don't know what caused it but it could have been a number of things. I do know that I am glad I brought her in when I did and didn't wait because who knows what could have happened. They are keeping her one more day and then I will bring her home tomorrow.
Could she have gotten into any rat bait?

Had one get sick like that once, they assumed poison of some sort, turned out it was a Shrew, they are poisonious when dogs eat them, totally possible for her to have gotten one in the yard.My dog spent a night at the vet with a bananna bag and the next afternoon she was good to go coming home.Elevated temp and lethargic were her symptoms.
We all know its hard to keep a good Lab down

I ask because we keep pretty close track of the dogs and they haven't been in any areas I would expect a reaction like that. We were theorizing it was bad batch of food. We feed Costco's Nature's Domain.
