State Representative JT Wilcox told my wife that the Discover pass thing is dead right now but will be brought up again during the next session. They are trying to kill it all together. It sounds like it is do doing what it was intended for and they are looking to scrap the DP.
What $30 permit they go from $33 - $36 and that depends on who you get them from.
The cost to users is $30 for the annual Discover Pass or $10 for a one-day pass. Transaction and dealer fees may apply.
Exactly! I won't support dnr harassment! Lol I pay for public property access and use through my taxes. This is PUBLIC LAND. It's as simple as that.

I think the reason for not getting ticketed is that they don't have the money to hire or pay enforcement officers. You buy the pass, and it gives them more money to pay people to hassle you!
One thing I have noticed is the state doesn't seem to require me to have a DP for my boat. Maybe that's next. Hahaha.
