Buying Pheasant?
« on: April 22, 2014, 09:30:23 AM »
Anyone know where I can buy birds?  I'd like to keep 10-12 in stock at my house and take 1-2 out to train the pup with at a time.

thanks,

Curtis

You can get day old chicks online.  You'd have to raise them up until being useful though.

Currrently 2-3 listings (just type in pheasants) on Seattle Craigslist for just hatched and I think one guy has some 12-14 day old chicks  Looks like around $3.00/chick, but obviously have to raise them a while to do you any good.
