Bow Hunting in GMU 460?
« on: November 24, 2008, 10:15:37 PM »
I just recently got stationed in Everett, I have never hunted Black Tails been strictly a White Tail Bow hunter my whole life. I spent last weekend driving around looking for a place to bow hunt in GMU 460. I came up with nothing, but a few deer tracks, two rubs and what looked like either Wolf or Coyote tracks. Does anybody have any suggestions for a late season hunt in this area.

Hancock Timber property up the North Fork has some deer but it'll cost you a vehicle pass.

you can get into some good areas by walking in.

personly i would just hunt 454 if i was archery hunting. heck ive had 3 bucks and 5 does within bow range sence the late season opener just fishing the snoqualmie.

Nope, like I've said many times before, there are no elk or deer in 454, nope none at all, just move along  :chuckle:

So Hunting in GMU 454 is a better deal? I'm not sure where all of these places are, but I'm willing to get out there and check it out if someone could point me in the right direction

The Snoqualmie is not in 454 until you are on private lands as far as I know :dunno:
Otherwise it's in 460. Besides I've been scouting up there recently and it's been a three ring circus of people.
