Be advised, the primitive boat ramp on the east side of the lake I is a magnet for thieves. I pulled my boat out a couple years ago and six rigs had their catalytic converters cut off in the parking lot. Also tons of break ins there. It really makes the $15.00 worth it if your rig is safe while you fish.

I sure wish someone without a conscience would lay in wait for the parking lot thieves and start reducing their ability to walk away from the scene......Had one break into my rig to steal my ashtray with a small amount of loose change. Cost me more to buy a new one than the change that was in it....
The Tillicompton launch has been cleaned up dramatically in the last few years. Lakewood cops and MP's patrol it regularly and they often take their hour long breaks there. I know for a fact the local gamie is in and out of there several times a day. I was there last week kokanee fishing and watched 3 gamies come through and ticket every rig without the discovery pass. I feel as if my rig is as safe there as it is on the Lake City side.
