yeah...well.....if a single bear summer sausage meant that much to cheat then I suppose he must have really needed it. I never heard back that he even got it, like it, or a simple thank you. Oh well.....nothing I'm worried about.

My son loves to crawfish hell when we're down on the Columbia for fall salmon I think he would rather catch crawfish, so we are in.
I think you should have to take a picture with a ruler AND A SIGN that say's hunting Washington next to the crawfish so it keeps them honest. Here's a link to a punch of pictures off the web, I know I saw a few of those pictures in last years post.

I like idea of adding the hunting-washington sign.  This way hacks can't steel pics off the web.  And it's great advertisement.  I'm more in favor of largest crawdad nose to tail rather tip of claw to tail, but I suspect I'm in the minority and can live with whatever the group decides.

"HOGCRAWS"  After a few years of this we will have our own dictionary of crawfish terminology. What would constitute a HOGCRAW oh H2O?

Don't want to be Mr. Negative but it should be biggest craw only entered by photo. There are to many variables in the other categories like water in the bucket for weight e.g. 1 cup of water is 8 oz. making a big difference, also multiple pot catch being entered as one pot catch ect.

I believe in honor and the honor system is an honorable thought but......The sad truth is some people will do anything to be a winner and not think twice about it.

I say keep it simple since there is no official entry or weigh in station and just go with 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize ect. for the largest craws either species entered on the HW site by clear photo :twocents:
I agree, keep it simple with sizes. It would be fun if we had 1st, 2nd and 3rd place instead of just 1st. I can donate a Justin Bieber calender for 3rd place... what do ya say  :peep:

Very well....ask and yee shall receive.

First off a hogcraw is usually a mudbug of local legend. It is typically a gnarley male that has prowled the lilly pads and cat tails in search of female after female. The hogcraw is a master thief of bait. He is not partial to worms, dough bait, or hot dogs. He will steal it all. He has lost and grown more pincers than any other craw in the water and they know it. He is surley and angry and will rear up to any dog that has the poor luck of going to for a drink in his territory. He is a legend among legends. He will pinch toes, fingers of babes, and the tushy of anyone brave enough to sit upon his waters.

Regarding proof of capture. I agree. Give us quick handwritten sign.....HW, Cpost, something........

I'll just use my Coyote Madness placard from this season. It'll definitely get more use here then it did in Coyote Madness.  :chuckle:
