Yote hunting during Archery?

I want to go up to the Cowiche unit and do some yote hunting and I am gonna take the Camera too, just in case I see a deer or elk. But I'm not sure what the rules are on rifles during Archery seasons. I have heard that you can do it but the rifle must be under .24 cal  but i'm not sure. If this is true then my .270 would be illegal until the end of archery seasons .

Any help would be appecieted.

The only time it matters what cal your rifle is is during a modern firearm season.
