Westport Or Illwaco? Which one has better charters?

I am going to be staying at a vacation home in Illwaco the last weekend of June. I have gone bottom fishing on the Tequilla Too and the Slammer boats out of Westport and had great success. I have never went on a charter trip our of Illwaco. Are they as successfull on their bottomfishing trips out of Illwaco? Or should I just make the 1.5 hr drive up to Westport for the fishing trip?  Any info or recomendations for charters would be appreciated.

I was going to ask this very same question. I'm looking at going June 5-8 depending on availability.

PM Come Get Some, Jim runs a charter and is very good at what he does Im not sure where he has his boat at right now. He could at least point you in the right direction.

I have caught limits of rock fish out of both places, great fun! but you have a better chance of lincod out of Westport. if I want salmon, I usually go to ilwaco. Bottom fish and halibut...Westport.
