Monster N.E. Whitetail Shed Question
« on: November 27, 2008, 01:20:35 AM »
I've done a lot of shed hunting for mulies and have some pretty good horns.  Is there anybody on here or do you know of somebody not on this site that has some unbelievable whitetail sheds from the N.E. corner?  What about numbers of sheds?  I was talking to a guy in Colville at a store and he was referring to a gentleman up there that has unbelievable whitetail sheds...he didn't give me his name.  Dang!

I cant remember the guys name, he live for it, his dog is trained to hunt them. He lives on Tiger. I was told he has several sheds where the deer would be around 200" if you had both sides. He had one mounted.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I was logging 2001 and had a bunch of huge whitetails coming in to eat the moss off the trees.  They shed about Christmas time and I brought my brother up to pick some of the sheds up while we sawed.  He hunted all day and brought back an armful including one set that is a 170" 4X4.  It carries 6" mass to the H3 and is about 25" wide, 25" mainbeams, etc....only had 3 1/2 inch browtines - that tells you how big the frame is!
