Rimrock is an easy unit if your willing to shoot a cow

I'd go to GMU 335 up at Snoqualmie pass , it has been true spike bull only for years and this year changed to true spike bull or cow elk .  You can also shoot a 3 pt mule deer at the same time.  One hour from Seattle, lots of country both easy to hunt and in the back country. Cooler because a little elevated, wind is usually good also as it blows east mostly.

Thanks guys.. Where would you enter on Snoqualmie  pass.. Never gone up That way.  It sounds good meat on the table and an hour from home

You can take the Lake Kachess exit after the pass,  take a left and road goes way back.  Get a map of the area and explore. Lots of roads and also hike in .  Good luck.
