6.0 is a awesome motor good for pulling and hauling. Very reliable not alot of problems if any. Mileage is about 12 mpg loaded or unloaded

It is a good motor in my Chevrolet 2500,, pulled 22 trailer foot real well. check the rear end ratio, mine was 4:10 2500 rpm at 65mph. I got about 15 mpg. My half ton 5.3 works a little to pull my trailer but gets 18 average. It is a trailer tow pack tho, 6 speed auto. I have had 1999, 2002, 2004 2006 and 2010 in these trucks. My 2010 has 115000 gets 18, has good power. had to replace tires, shocks and back brakes, one front "hub" (what ever that is) has not burnt out a lightbulb yet. good tunes, comfortable. I will likely buy another when I have 200K on it.

It pulled my 24' fine, and got 9 loaded, maybe 14 empty. Pulling my 30' TH, 6 mpg, very lacking in power.
