Kel Tec PMR30's in stock
« on: June 03, 2014, 08:15:01 AM »
FWIW, anyone that is looking for a Kel Tec PMR30 this place has a few black ones in stock for $499.99.  I just got off the phone with them.  Considering I see them going for $600 used, I guess this isn't a bad price.  It is for me but if it's not for you, this place has 20 of them in stock but he said they will surely be sold out by days end or sooner.

Considering the best price I've been quoted was $475 and I've been on that list for quite some time, I couldn't take the pressure any more and I went ahead and bought one from CDNN Sports.

I must be getting fickle with old age because didn't I just tell myself I wouldn't pay that price?!  :dunno:

Seeing a used one just sell for $600 on another site probably helped me justify that $499 price to myself.

That's no joke!!

The only reason I was interested in one of these things is I still have a 4.5 bricks of CCI Vmax ammo left from when I had my 22mag 597 rifle.  I sold that a couple years ago and this stuff has been sitting on the shelf ever since and it calls out to me every time I walk by so I needed to get something to shoot that stuff in.  I thought about another 22mag rifle but my Sav. 93 17hmr is my go to rat shooter and something about 30rnds of 22mag in a semi auto pistol just seems like a whole lot of fun to me.  I guess only time will tell.

I picked my pistol for 369.00 the day it came out. I can't believe how much they have gone up. I should of picked up 2 and sold the other one.  :chuckle: I can't find anymore ammo.  :'( I am lucky I have a brick or so for grouse this season or I would be screwed and have to pack my 6 shooter.

bear hunter, have you had any issues with yours?  I've read that some of the lower powered ammo doesn't cycle as well as the higher velocity stuff, have you experienced any issues with some ammo versus another???

I haven't had any issues except for cheep Winchester ammo but it was nothing. a couple of jam's but that was with 500 rounds with out cleaning it. The pistol doe's like the CC I's but I shoot what I can find. I like the FMJ CC I's for grouse because the SP CCI blow up the bird if I miss the head and hit the body. I still haven't cleaned her yet. I am testing how many round it will take before it jam's up all the time.
