Good work Chris! As an ex-co worker, I almost fell off my chair when I saw your post. Now what OIL tag will you go for next?

Wow, what a beautiful bull!  Well done!

In hindsight, what is your take of having a November hunt versus October?  Would you do it the same again?  Obviously it worked out well in November!

through out idahos harvest stats the bigget bulls typically get killed in the nov season (they show avg width) and there were plenty of moose to see. the only drawbacks I could see were that the rut was winding down and the weather could be unpredictable.
hindsight I wouldn't change a thing!

I green scored my bull yesterday and it was 155 1/2! gross booner! net should be 148-149. I am jacked with that. obviously this may change after drying and im not sure I will ever have it officially scored.
been working on the meat, 70-75 lbs off each hind quarter after processing!

Chris, awesome bull brother!!! Glad you were able to get such a dandy...we saw a few bruisers up top this year including one 50+ that was watering in a puddle in front of our camp. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and congrats on such a great bull....

Scott
