Youth Waterfowl Hunter Workshop

The Grays Harbor Chapter of the Washington Waterfowl Association is having their second annual

YOUTH WATERFOWL HUNTER WORKSHOP

June 14th, 2014 at 10:00AM
At the Evergreen Sportsman's Club near Littlerock, WA (http://www.shootesc.com/)

This six hour educational workshop will be held in seminar format and will show the young waterfowl hunters;


x   Waterfowl identification by William Vogel of the USFWS
x   Laws and ethics (WDFW)
x   Firearm and hunting safety
x   Decoy and blind setup
x   Duck and Goose calling
x   Target shooting on the sporting clays target range

This workshop is designed to promote waterfowl hunting to the new hunter as a safe, ethical and fun activity. The workshop is free to all youth under 18 years of age. Parents are encouraged to participate! Kids must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the shooting range. Students will provide their own shotgun and ammunition. Loaner guns will be available.
