Mule deer/whitetail bucks running together?
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:39:08 PM »
How often do mule deer and whitetail bucks run together in a group? Ever? Never? Curious to hear opinions on this.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Depends on the type of food plot. ;)
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

This is why I asked. I had these guys on camera a bunch since April. Last night I watched them through the glass all walk across a big CRP field then right out in front of my camera. There's about 12-15 bucks all together.

It all depends on the area. I know of a couple areas where this is very common. Usually a couple whitey bucks with a group of muley bucks. I've seen nice muley with whiteys, but never seen a nice whitey running with muley bucks......wait, one time in the entiat, lol.
