i noticed that 272 was open for late archery deer and was wondering if anybody knew if it was worth hunting and if so where abouts should i go.

Most of the unit is privately owned. Unless you have permission from a land owner and can get set up on a heavily used trail where the deer are feeding it is very difficult hunting with a bow.

I have wondered the same thing for 3 years, but have not gotten off my duff and researched it. There is some intriguing state lands in a little pocket or 2.....

i see that there is a large chunck of state land south of coulee city and i was wondering if that would also be worth checking out
