Managed to find and photograph a couple different species of nudibranchs while backpacking on the coast this last week.

Never seen anything like it.
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

That is a really wild looking slug. What do you think those black things are that look like frog or salamander eggs?

If I'm looking at the same black thing you are.  I believe they are mussels.

Oh oh oh, I have a whole collection of these!!!!  Bone, I'll share a few when I get home later if that's cool.

Maybe baby hermits or snails.   There were big hatch groups of them and crabs everywhere.   Yes that is underwater.   I have a couple more species when I get a chance.   Good day in the Tidal zone.   YES Fish, please do.

I have a ton of pictures of these little things, so I'll try to not go too crazy.  Sorry, I think they are really freaking cool!  Some of my favorites...

White Lined Dirona

"Fed-Ex"nudi

Three Lined Nudibranch I think.  Bone, I think this is the one you started the thread with...?  I could be totally wrong though.   :dunno:

Gold Dirona...

Giant Red Dendronotid, about the size of a football (yeah, that's a big slug!)...

Giant Nudibranch, also football sized...

Shaggy Mouse nudi...

One of my favorites, a Lion's Mane (or hooded) nudi.  They are transparent, you can see all their innards.  This one is filter feeding, his "mane" is open to catch food...

This one is a nudi who's diet consists solely of other nudibranchs.  It's about the size of a whole banana.
