300 win mag ammo
« on: June 13, 2014, 08:46:43 PM »
Does anyone know where I can find 300 win mag 180 grain federal premium nosler accubond ammo? Item# p300wa1
I can't even find it on federals website anymore and I really liked this ammo, nothing shot out of my 300 with the same kind of accuracy.

Yeah same here...Can't find it anywhere anymore...I haven't shot it out of my .300 win mag but that is what my son and now my wife shoot out of our .270 its a great round.  I was going to see how my .300 win mag shot it this summer but I can't find it anywhere either.  I have a half of a box because I bought a box a couple years ago when upgraded my son to a .300 win mag and he wanted to shoot what he shot in his .270.  And at the time I was shooting Barnes MRX.  But we have both since moved to the Federal Premium Trophy Bonded Tip and love it.  My sons rifle shoots super tight groups with it but my rifle just shoots pretty good groups.  So I thought I would try the Accubond, because looking at all the spec for it they are so close to the Trophy Bonded Tips.  I just wanted to see how my rifle liked it.  So you might consider the Trophy Bonded Tips is you can't find anymore Accubond.

Have you tried the Winchester Supreme ammo in .300win 180gr Accubond?
This what I used before I started reloading my own, good stuff. Nosler also
has their own ammo in 180 Accubonds for the 300win. both are about the
same price as your federal.

Its still for sale on Cabelas website. You can buy it there, its in stock and everything. Call Cabelas first if your gonna make the trip there to buy it just in case its not in stock in stores.

Its not the accubond but the nosler partitions.
