Want to rent or borrow tripod - $20.
« on: July 13, 2014, 07:08:28 PM »
I am tasked to shoot a wedding ( :yike: ) for a service person at or around JBLM.  The first wedding I did (  :yike: ) I brought my tripod in my truck but this trip to Seattle will necessitate a flight in and space is at a premium.  Needs to have a fluid head that pans smoothly and some sort of grip. Time frame will be early November,  which means 1/2 of you wessiders will  be out in search of wapiti, so this is a long shot.   Id rather not have to buy a tripod so im willing to drive a reasonable distance to pick up.  Thanks  :hello:

Sounds like you're looking for something high end.
If no offers:
Go to Glazers camera's web sigh, they have a very good rental department.
Old enough to know better.
Young enough to go for it.

Other replies welcome just in case timing, etc. doesn't work out with Wadu. It will be good to have a backup plan.

Thanks.

If for some reason it doesn't workout with wadu1 I have a tripod you can borrow as well. I live close to the east gate side but go through Spanaway all the time so no problem meeting somewhere by it. Ummm... I don't know what brand it is, it looks like wadu's but grey haha.

I have an old, 25 year old Profoto. It's pretty solid and still works pretty well after all this time. Made for holding up those big VHS camcorders.  :chuckle: I live a stones throw from JBLM.
times before with just leather, wool and cotton.
