Damn site won't let my phone upload.  Head down the highway to orting. Before that big church by the freeway in the field on the left.  Follow the traffic jam

There are quite a few in that general area, with all the construction in Tehaleh (formerly known as Cascadia) they have to find new areas.

They were there all day. I watched them this evening til they disapeared in the dark. I figured they came from the cascadia but it is still weird to see in my own backyard. Literally across the street

Ross, You dont have to drive to Dayton this year to get a good bull, just do some local thinning and you got it made!

Car hit a nice 6x6 bull on the 167/410 on ramp in January 2012. Troopers had to put it down.  I had no idea they were down here.

Yes, that big church is Calvary Community Church.  The church went on a walk on Saturday or Sunday and it was a huge conversation about those elk.  Great to see BTW...

Went to school in sumner and never saw any elk! That's awesome! I was working in orting the other day and saw the biggest blacktail buck of my life right on the side of 162.
