Hammer/bolt sticking on CVA Stag Horn mag 50 cal???
« on: July 14, 2014, 02:06:40 PM »
I bought a used stag horn Muzzle loader this spring from a pawn shop because I want to try elk hunting with a smokepole this year. I took it out yesterday to shoot it for the first time and the bolt was sticking. I took it a part this morning clean everything really well and still the bolt sticks. I have never really done much with muzzleloaders before with this model is the hammer usually hard to get out once the drop out the trigger mech and take off the breech cap and spring the bolt has to be tapped out I would thing it shouldn't be that hard to remove.

Any ideas?
