dove up some crab

Went out just after the southern sound opener. It was my first time scuba diving for crab What a blast!

Nice.  I bet it is pretty cool to sort through the crabs visually.  How do you swim with a limit of crabs?

I always kept a mesh bag on my hip. Crab gauge in the thigh pocket. The can run pretty darn fast. You learn real quick how to judge size and gender from a distance. Don't want to suck up to much of your tank chasing them down.

:yeah: I also had my spear with me and was able to get some nice flounder.

That's a monster.  Did you get a back measurement on it since the standard guage would not work?

I had a gauge clipped on my bag. Not sure how big, I just know he was legal.
