Peaches, oct. 1-10. Great tag, lots of bugling.
THere are lots of good choices out there especially with your ten points, I would say your biggest decision is east or west side for starters. THen whatever you are thinking of going for ,research it and make sure for yourself it is an area you can hunt with the style of hunting you like to do. FOr instance the BLues are great but if you draw the east wenaha and don't have pack animals or want to hire an outfitter you may not enjoy your hunt like you would have in the Dayton. DO your own research and don't just pick a unit because you heard it has big bulls but choose one you will enjoy hunting the most. My2 cents nwhunter
I have 11, i really do not know what i will apply for.Our hunt in CO next year starts Oct 10th, we have to leave here on the 6th, i ML hunt so if i apply for Margaret or toutle and draw i will have 3 days to hunt, not sure it is worth it. I have waited to long to only get to hunt 3 days. SO i think i am going to Apply for a point, buy a westside archery tag and chase bulls in september. Or i might buy an east side tag and apply for the blues. Who knows. We will see when the new regs come out.
One of the reasons I have no complaints on when the application period is here in this state. All out of state draws are complete and washington is a fall back state. With double digit points and limited time to hunt here, I put in for points unless not drawn in other states. My
