If I were you I would keep on putting for that if you are hunting the westside. The only other tag that would be good for elk on the westside is the toutle. But I would stay with the Magaret unless you plan on putting for eastside tags. There are some really good tags on that side of the state. If you are willing to hunt on the eastside for spikes if you do not draw.

Green River would be a good draw too. My son was drawn for a deer permit a few years ago and he asked me to go with him. It was like going back 30 years in time. If you get drawn for Green River make sure you have a bear tag also.

Wet side- Mt. Adams, Goat Rocks and Nooksack!!!! Better bulls then the Margret or Toutle.
Dry side- Wenaha, Dayton, Teanaway, Little Naches.
I can only dream...........I am now at 0 points

THere are lots of good choices out there especially with your ten points, I would say your biggest decision is east or west side for starters. THen whatever you are thinking of going for ,research it and make sure for yourself it is an area you can hunt with the style of hunting you like to do. FOr instance the BLues are great but if you draw the east wenaha and don't have pack animals or want to hire an outfitter you may not enjoy your hunt like you would have in the Dayton. DO your own research and don't just pick a unit because you heard it has big bulls but choose one you will enjoy hunting the most. My2 cents nwhunter

I wouldn't waist ten points on the Magaret or the Toutle. I can think of three units on the west side that are better and they have all been mentioned.
