lookin for a tree found this guy!

I was out with the fam lookin for a tree and found this guy with his gals!  He will be pretty nice next year!

That is a mature buck in the pic.  He's run down from rutting.  You can see ribs, back bone, and hip bones sticking out.  Only reason their not predominant is because of his winter hair.  Doubt he is going to get much bigger than he is now.  Deer is atleast 6 1/2 years old.

I see what you mean michelle!  Hopefully he will get a little mass on him.  I always like mass more than anything!!

From here on out that is probably what he will do, put on more mass.  He might gain a few more inches in length but nothing that you will notice next year. 

Mature deer starting at around 5 1/2 years old start to develop a pot belly.  Considering that this buck is as worn down as much as he is his pot belly won't be as predominant.  You should have seen it before they started rutting.
