spike elk

I recently went to check a trail camera after 1 month soak. I got 8 different spike elks walking through there they all seem to walk by at 7 to 9 in the a.m. and there all headed in the same in the same direction. For you experienced elk hunters how do I keep tabs on theses elk for the rifle and muzzle loader seasons. Thanks for any advice.

Not a bad spot but remember elk change habits with pressure and they will be pressured during the archery season

 Look at a map of the area.
Where are they going? Water , food area, what's in the direction they are going.
Move the camera along that path.

You should be able to pin point some set up spots.

I highly doubt they will continue that same pattern into muzzleloader and rifle season. But you have found a good area. Find the cows the spikes will be around them.

there is no archery season here

yes but there are other factors like the rut, changes in the weather, pressure from muzzle hunters and deer hunters. Not saying they won't be on the sane trail come rifle season, it's just not very likely in my opinion.
