So....what is a turn around time for a tannery? I'd sure like to just ask the Taxi, but I am getting nervous not being able to make contact. I am at this time positive the taxi is an upstanding, great guy, but I would sure like to get a reply to my messages. Maybe I am worried for nothing, (I Hope).

Centrailia Fur and Hide.

https://furandhide.com/

Hair off tanned i get back around 4months on average
Hair on take a bit longer..

Follow the salting and shipping instructions and have had no problems so far..

Now i will add that i have only had hides done for rugs etc, have not had any done for mounting, but they have an in house taxi so i would guess they do the hides for him.
A phone call to them (like now, not during the busy time during the season) should answer any questions.
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

The Taxidermist is in NE Oregon. I am waiting on my Uncle to follow a lead to track him down. If I have not been able to contact him in the next few weeks, I will release his name and see if anyone knows him. He usually asks permission to hunt our farm, so he is bound to show up in a month or so.  Just disappointing I cant contact him, since last Sept. Phone, email, US mail(letter).

My Uncle was able to contact the Taxi. He has been working on other mounts, and had a change of primary jobs. He is to call me in the next few days. Good deal.  Mods, feel free to delete!
