the little girl is fetching birds already,  toss a dead bird and she'll bring it right back to you.
Lot's of natural retrieve.

If I were you I'd not name the dog after a gun/gun manufacturer. There are already a bajillion dogs named Benelli, Remington, Winchester, Ruger, etc. Make it short and unique and something that doesn't sound remotely like a command you'll use. Cuts down on confusion for the dog.

Whatever you name her, I've heard it's easier for dogs to learn names with at least two syllables, just one sounds too much like a command.  :twocents:

Cute pup!

Cute pup!

You want no more than two syllables, generally. Simple is better with dogs. It's why a lot of guys teach "heel" for recall and "whoa" to stay put and skip "sit."

You can name a dog "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" but the dog will have most likely keyed in on "Super" and not much more as its name.

I think Ginger fits her very well.

She's a cutie.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
