Opening day cow

Couldn't be happier with her. Lots of meat for an empty freezer.
Aim small, miss small.

Not the sideways pic thing again. Not much of a story. I was about to get out of the treestand until I heard some twigs snap. A few cows and a calf worked their way in. I was gonna wait to see if there was a bull in the rear but didn't want to pass up my first opportunity. Hit her in the heart and she ran only about 20-30 yards. Lots of work taking care of meat all day. Well worth it though.
Aim small, miss small.

Gonna try one more pic to see if it works.. I said screw taking one quarter at a time. Halfway back to the truck I began to regret that decision.

Ok last pics. Elk sure are neat looking animals... and tasting. Here's a pic of the blood trail also. Love my Shuttle T's. Good luck to everyone else this season.

Nice one, I can appreciate an opening day animal much more now. Tagged my deer last night.
