My Grandfather bought one to replace his old Smith service revolver. He has been learning how to shoot a Semi Gun for a few weeks and he is getting good. My Brother and I are training him so that he can qualify with it for his retired LEO carry permit. I've ran a few mags through the gun myself and am impressed with reliability and accuracy. Only thing about the gun to me is that it is not comfortable in my hand...As a concealed weapon that is a topic of great debate... I prefer the wider grip of a double stack gun.

A good friend of mine carries the LC9 nice gun, shoots well, probably one of the easiest guns to conceal.

Good lord, I forgot to add the link and auto correct changed "seems" to "systems" in my original post.  No wonder I haven't seen much discussion.  Here is the link - http://www.cdnnsports.com/rugerr-lc9r-9mm-with-viridian-green-laser-1-7rd.html#.VBdjfWK9KSO

I'm particularly curious about this Viridian green laser.  Is Viridian a brand name?  If so, does it have a Good quality reputation like Crimson Trace seems to have? :dunno:

The only negative I have heard about Viridian green lasers, are the Lithium Ion batteries do not last more then a year of "heavy use".
Lithium Ion should last allot longer.

Not really a negative, lol

I love my LC9CT. Shoots well. Hasn't jammed. Easy to clean (use compressed air on it if you pocket carry). I'd prefer a larger mag capacity, but then it probably wouldn't be a pocket gun.

I'm still very much a newbie with handguns...you say your gun is a CT but I don't see that designation on the one in the link.  What is CT anyway?  Also, how is yours for accuracy and kick, Pman?

CT-Crimson Trace Laser. Little kick and very accurate within 15 yards or more with practice.

Try the trigger some like it some don't, I sold mine and bought the LC9S I personally prefer the striker fired version.  That being said I prefer my Shield to the Ruger, both conceal great.  IMHO you really can't go wrong with either.

I just bought the LC9 with the viridian laser from Buds Gun shop.  I also bought the in the belt holster.  Very comfy to wear.  I still haven't shot it yet though so can't speak to the accuracy.  It came with two extra batteries and. Bought a couple extras. I love the green laser, shows up real well.
