Mountain View Bull
« on: September 16, 2014, 09:03:11 AM »
10 days of hunting, probably somewhere close to 100 miles of hiking, lost count of how many bulls I encountered, lost 15lbs! No tag soup here!

I really didn't mean anything by my comment,I apologize if you took it it wrong,it is a great bull and I'd would have loved to see a animal like that while I was hunting. I'm more interested in how far it ran. Again I didn't mean anything negative.

No worries, It was hard quartering shot. Probably should have waited a bit but what you see is the exit wound. I knew the cow he was following was right behind me and I couldn't tell if she saw me or was getting nervous. I ranged him at 40 and by the time I shot he was more like 25. After the shot he only ran about 40 yards and heard it crash in about 20 seconds.

Way to go, congrats!
