Elk in Sedro wooley

Sedro Wooley is the closest Elk area to me, I don't really want to travel to far from home. has anyone seen any up there. I haven't had time to go scout due to my daughter being in and out of the hospital.

418 is permit only, 437 isn't open and 4941 is master hunter only. 407 is your only bet and most of the elk population is on private land. Without scouting going to an area with more elk and a general season may be your best bet even if its a 3-4 hour drive.
