Imo if you are paying $300 for a mapped out hunting area you SHOULD EXPECT a little more detail than what has been described.
Any single person on this site who has hunted any given area for more than a few years couple easily give that same described information to a hunting area...hell anyone with a little search button know how could give that same described information within a few minutes of searching this great forum

I would be pretty disappointed to receive a shotty paper map with a few highlights

JPC no disrespect intended but for anyone to say the map is a scam is wrong. I realize the info is subjective but Imo knowledge is priceless.  I don't know if your expectations were communicated but it takes years of scouting and hunting to attain "general" areas.  It also comes to drive and ability of the hunter (something that should be communicated). If you give some guys general info and specific areas they will take the ball and run with it so to speak.  That info, from me at least is worth way more than $300. If you do not live in the area or are short on scouting time the value of "general" info goes up tremendously!  For what is worth if it were my area I wouldn't sell the info for $3000.  :twocents:

The map looks good to me. Any thoughts of it might of took a month to get because he wanted the info to be the most current and up to date. If you find deer one place a few months before the season they could be gone by opening day.

So let me get this straight. You bought a DIY map from Dale. You didn't like it. You told him. You guys agreed to a 50% refund, then you came on this forum that he owns, complained about the DIY map he gave you, then posted pictures of the map? Wow. If you weren't happy with the 50% refund that you agreed to, you should've said something to the guy. That would have been the adult, man to man thing to do. Have you even hunted it yet?  Can't think of a more lame way to approach a concern with a business than this. Did you want a DIY map of a deer tied to a specific tree? If you wanted a guided hunt, you should've paid for a guided hunt.

well well well,Im thinking you should choose your wording much better,Scam!Really? How was the hunting?I can imagine why your deer hunting sucess has been poor, perhaps you need someone to pen one up for you..Maybe after you have hunted for yrs in an area and have good sucess you can give folks your hard earned knowledge for nothing...come on think about your post...

Apparently the OP has no respect for that side of things.

This whole thread is worthless until you hunt the area on the map.
