Great buck. Those prongs are really nice. What part of Wyoming do you hunt?
Congratulations.

He does have huge prongs. When I saw him that's the biggest thing I noticed, I love big prongs and right away told her I'd kill him, I had no idea his horns were long as well. Both prongs are real close to the 7 inch mark, can't ask for much better.
Here's one my dad killed today, often times these bucks look huge at a mile away and shrink when we get close, he decided this was still a shooter and took him at right around 400 yards

I finally tagged out the other night, there was some ground shrinkage on mine, he has 15 inch horns but is lacking the mass I thought he had. We were able to put a very long stalk on him and pick him out of 20 or more antelope, he was the dominant buck and had and obvious sweep forward to his horns. A fairly long shot in very stiff wind right at the last bit of daylight and my Wyoming antelope tag was filled, but a long night ahead of us with a tough pack out (as far as antelope go).
My girlfriends brother was also able to tag out on a decent whitetail, his first buck with a bow and first whitetail.
Some bucks we passed on

We absolutely did. This was my girlfriend and her brothers first out of state hunting trip. My girlfriend has a degree in wildlife ecology and management, so she kept pretty good score sheets on animals we saw every day. Pretty funny, but it's actually pretty dang cool being able to look back at how many we saw! I think it's safe to say they are probably hooked on this out of state stuff.

I believe that one will make B&C if she'd like to get her name in the record book. 83 4/8 is my guess

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.

He's close, 82 7/8 but he's broke off on the one side. We are guessing if he wasn't busted off he would have went over 84. We were by no means looking for a book goat but she sure came close with hers!
