I love to hunt them as well as the occasional flock of Huns. I can't talk the wife into hunting chukars. :roll eyes:

Dogs are itching to get out after the grouse opener. The old one knows its that time of the season. More excited to climb a mountain or so for chukar and Huns!

Have had 20-30 out in the front yard every day lately.  I'd rather see them than shoot them.  Of course I wouldn't mind eating some that were from a location other than my yard!

Thee seems to be an increase of them in the Basin area. I wonder what has changed making thier numbers rise compared to Phesant go down?

the orchards seem to be a place they seek refuge for the nights, perhaps more protection from the trees, the populations are up here also and im pretty sure thats why...

Possibly the lack of rain in the Spring has the numbers up.
