What type of heaters are you guys using in your travel trailers? 

Assuming that you are dry camping in the woods somewhere.

LP vent free? Vented?
Just use the heater in the camper?

Or you could go old school and just light a burner on the stove.

I was looking at the LIttle Buddy's and also at the Olympian Wave 8.

A guy in our camp uses the Olympian 8 but man they are spendy for only 8,000 btuh's

I found my little buddy for $64 on sale to replace the same one that I had been using for the last 5 years. Mental note, never lend to friends who can't remember to pack it up after using and just leaves on table and drives off  has been the best little heater I've ever used.

Another vote for the little buddy heater.I found mine at a garage sale for $7 and i just refill the 1 pound propane bottles with one of these adapters i put the 1 pound container in the freezer of the trailer or in the cooler to get as cold as possible then just fill it with the big 5+ gallon container upside down.

Little buddies are great-been using them in both a trailer and cabin for years. Couple things I've learned:  if you use on a 5 gal propane tank, get a filter on them (available at Cabellas or most other sports stores).  Don't just turn them off when done, turn to pilot and then turn off the propane and let them burn out.  Cover them very well to keep the dust off the face when you are going to store during the summer months.  The small propane bottle with give you almost exactly 8 hours on low and 5 hours on high-I really suggest you convert to the 5 gal propane tanks for them or you'll be cold when you wake up if you use the high setting. I've used them on the high setting in a trailer when it got to -10 degrees outside and it kept the trailer very comfortable.

I prefer a hot young lady to keep me warm at camp and then to have supper ready when I get back after a long day. Will your little buddy heater compete with that? 

Actually we use the little buddy heater as well and have no complaints.

I just ordered a Big Buddy, filter, and hose.  They didn't have any "hot young ladies that can cook" otherwise I would have went that route.

The battery operated fan will be nice,  if it actually works.

They are a tad more spendy than the little buddy, and for some reason, society frowns on the pay as you go plan.

The 5gal propane tanks supposedly have a lot more particulates in them and jam up the burners.  Before I started using the filters I was having to take mine apart and blow it out on a yearly basis to get it to ignite properly.  Since I put the filter on I've not had that problem.  The pilot lights do blow out fairly easily, so I also recommend placing the heater where there is no wind and be carful opening and shutting doors as the sudden gust will also blow them out (I've opened the door late at night to go out and not noticed that it blew out the heater, makes for a cold wake up).  They are quite sensitive to dust etc.. and if you find it won't ignite properly it's really not to hard to take them apart and blow them out with a pressure hose, that's about the only problem I've ever had.

One guy I know insulates his tent or camper real well and takes his dogs--three giant newfoundlands with him.  He would do all kinds of extreme cold stuff like ice climbing.  He would throw old carpets over the top and then a tarp over the carpets.  Let the dogs out in the morning, then lock them inside for the day.  Said it was pretty warm inside when he would get back, usually too warm at night.

I've had problems with my Big buddy and the 5 gal adapter. Had a couple of flare-ups at the point of attachment, bout burned my tent down last fall. Scared the crap out of me.
I'm a bit gun shy now. I haven't lit it since. Need to get it out again and see what the issue is. (outside of course)

I run the 3 tree propane tank adapter off of the next size up from the 5 gallon tank this way I get my lantern, cook stove and heat from one source

The only problem I've found is that the Little Buddy heaters put out a lot of moisture.  I have a van converted to a hunting camper and use a little buddy in it, it is also set up with a small electric space heater on a thermostat when I have 110v to plug into.  When using the electric heat there is no moisture, with the little buddy the water is running down the windows in the morning even with the vent and windows cracked.  Now I just fire up the heater in the AM when crawling out of the sack to get dressed.  I spend 3-6 months a year living in my van hunting and fishing in WA, WI, MT, SD, UT, AZ, NM, and NV

I would look into a solar panel to keep you trailer battery charged and just use the vented heater in the rig.

The moisture is from the burnt propane.  LP is a very "wet" gas.  The moisture doesn't bother me much since we open up the trailer during the day anyway to air it out.  I just don't like using the trailers heating system due to the noise, it wakes me up all night.

I have been using Little Buddy in my tent for 15 years.
I only use it below freezing. And then I turn it on a few minutes before I go to bed, then I usually turn it off. I do not need it in the morning often.
I have not needed the heater on at all in the last three years, obviously Global warming or bad gas 

 Amazon has them but that price is high. The one I am using now I got on sale for $59.00 7 or 8 years ago. I still see them occasionally in that range.

a double mantle lantern puts out alot of heat by it self. I sometimes carry one when winter fishing and just set it down and stand over it, keeps me toasty.

i also use a big buddy with a 7 gallon bottle sitting outside the trailer. Bi mart has them on sale right now for $129
