We saw a ton of true spikes on our archery cow hunt. Should have killed a couple but that's how it goes I guess. Good luck to ya

We started hunting the clockum in 1993 archery and the season opened in october either sex. the week before the opener I ran a broadhead through my hand, all stiched up we were off to elk camp. Fast forward 21 years to this year we were ready for the opener. I hiked to my honey hole and got set up. It was barley breaking light and I could hear elk coming right to me through the windfall. I could see boddies stepping out, 5 cows and a spike were standing at 25 yards the spike is picture perfect broadside. I drew and let her fly,he ran 40 yards and tipped over. I looked down at my watch and it was 6:13am hunt over. Good luck on your hunt
