What A Season
« on: October 06, 2014, 09:39:14 AM »
What a salmon season this year. It reminded me of the way the fishing was back in the day when I was young back in the late 1960's and 1970's    I was able to meet and fish with new folks (and hopefully) friends. Buckhorn2 and I put a dent into the salmon population ( he more than me for the season) but for the week end in July over QuickDraws birthday, the week I spent on vacation with the family, and neighbor, plus the 3 days I was able to fish with buckhorn2, a little over 100lbs. of salmon was put into the freezer (some awaiting for the canner), and so far only 40 sea bass filets. More of those to come  for the freezer.

What a season

Was pretty decent for sure, but actually way less fish than I got the past couple years!!  Of course I might have had more driving duties this year....   Going to be adding two new folks to my already reliable two other guys for a group of five total.  Keeps me and them fishing every weekend throughout the year...

I have salmon fished several times in the past but the trip this summer with you guys was the best I've seen and it was a blast fishing with you guys. Thanks again...  :hello:

Nice to hear such a good report when so many people are complaining about our fishing and hunting. There's opportunity if you get out there.
