This is the most expensive hat I have ever bought!
« on: December 12, 2008, 07:16:06 PM »

I got an awesome deal on one of these hats.  Whenever you buy one of these cool hats
at any Hoyt dealership they give you a free bow!   :chuckle:  :IBCOOL: Actually I ended
up with two of these cool hats tonight and my poker winnings stash is bye bye.  Tonight
I am the proud owner of a Hoyt Alphamax 32 and my daughter will have a Hoyt Trykon Jr
under the Christmas tree.

Doug at Great NW Archery was awesome.  I went in yesterday to tell him I would bring in
my daughter today and that I was gonna have her try out a bow but not to let on that I
was really going to buy it.  Today I asked her if she wanted to try a bow since I was in
there buying mine.  She was all excited but she was nervous because she couldn't pull the
last youth buy she tried.  Well that Hoyt Trykon Jr pulled back like nothing for her.  She was
so excited.  She is thinking that I might buy it for her after my tax returns come in next year.

I'll be picking up both our bows this coming week.  In the mean time, I've got one expensive hat
to wear around.   ;)

Hers is camo just like daddy's!  The funny thing is I took one of my buddies with me since he needed work done on his bow.  I told him go ahead, take a shot with the Alphamax.  He is now gonna buy one too.

The alphamax looks like a slower copy of a last years Bowtech 82nd airborne.   ;)

(just trying to fuel a little friendly bow brand rivalry)

No bow rivalry here.  I'm a firm believer in just shooting what feels best to ya.  I don't think anyone can go wrong with any of the new bows out there.  If it feels good and is fun to shoot then you are gonna shoot more and be a better shooter.  Plus I know my limbs won't blow up  :chuckle: (just joking back at ya EastWaViking), honestly I almost ended up with the Admiral, another sweet shooting bow.

here we go lol it looks like a copy EXCEPT the hoyts new ZT LOCK pocket system is about 1000000 times better then bowtechs  :o it directly links the limb to the riser.. PERFECT really. also the new TEC LITE riser is stronger and lighter.. the enginering behind any of the TEC risers is a flawless design concept.... but yes it does look very similiar at a glance, that however is where the simliarities end sir.........

....because the Bowtech 82nd is 25 to 30 fps faster!     ;)

(I'll stop now, if you want to know the truth, I've never shot a Hoyt, so I know nothing about them,  and my Bowtech is a old 2004 Patriot set at 60 lbs. (290 fps) I do love it though!)  I think you probably can't go wrong with any of them Mathews, Bowtech or
Hoyt.
