The new gun shoots good. put 5 rounds through it at 100 yards, pretty much sighted in and shoots MOA. Not bad for a $399 rifle. I'm betting once it's broke in a little and try some different rounds and some fine tuning, maybe throw a Limbsaver barrel de-resonator on it that it will be a tack driver.

Tried the rifle out a little better today. I like it. Knocked this buck right over. Not sure I want to hand it over to the kids now.  :chuckle:

 :yeah:  My sons American has a mag that only feeds 2 rounds.  The third doesn't rotate up.  I'm sending the mag back to Ruger after this season unless there is a quick fix out there.
