Moultrie D55 ??
« on: October 13, 2014, 09:35:41 AM »
Got an almost new Moultrie D55IR.  Everything seems normal including the camera "click" when it takes a picture, however, it won't go to the SD card.  Called Moultrie and they told me to try several things which I  had already done.  They said sometimes that just happens!!
Anybody have this problem and if so did you find any solutions?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure they told you to try a different sd card?

Yes they did.  I have changed cards, brands, sizes.  Two other cameras work fine.  This camera worked fine for about a month prior to this problem
Thanks for the reply.

The only thing I can think of is to leave the batteries out of it for a long period of time, maybe a month or longer, and then try it again. Sounds odd I know, but sometimes that's what it takes for the camera to reset itself. Only other option, if it's not still under warranty, is to toss it in the garbage.

Thanks bobcat,
I did remove the batts for about a week.  Still a no go.  Next step will be driving about 100 miles to Cabela's and whine to them and see if that helps.  Good excuse to go anyway!!

Thanks
