I heard there was a pretty good buck standing in downtown Republic on the opener giving folks all sorts of angst.

my son and I have been out on the west side chasing blacktails now. We still haven't run across a single buck. Lots of does and fawns. The kiddo gets a kick out of just being able to tag along and be out in nature. Building great memories so far. On a side note, does anyone know if the hancock property off NF75 allows hunting without a hancock permit? It looks like it is part of the Clearwater wildness area and goes back a ways the last time I was in that area. Good luck and happy hunting
