unit 342 late archery

 Thinking of heading over thankgiving weekend for 5 days anyone first year elk hunting with a bow not looking for spots just a general input on this unit

I.hunted it the last 5 years but never that time of year . Doubt there will be snow yet  but should be a lot of animals heading to the feeding station.  Pm if ya want more specifics . Roads are nasty in that unit .

I'm considering the possibility of swinging by for the late season in 342.  With snow I'm guessing that hunt will be best accessed via the Wenas.  Sound about right? :dunno:
