Had a visitor today
« on: December 14, 2008, 06:40:41 PM »
I was watching the seahawk game this afternoon with my  18 month son and glanced out the back doors and saw this bird and another fly right above it and land in the tree over head. I got my camera  and peeked around the curtends and both where on the ground about 20 yards from the house. I got spotted before I could get a picture of both of them  and got just the one descent picture with my son pulling on the camera strap and yelling WOW WOW!!! When it flew off there was something inhis claws.

Cool for your son to get to see them.  They are awesome critters.

Nice picture Dale. Tough light conditions you had to deal with there.

Hey nathan I never was good at spelling, it looked like a rabbit but it was hard to tell. Your right Timber the light was terrible and it was taken through a window with Luke's finger and nose prints all over it. :chuckle:
Last week I saw one of thoses big birds dive bombing a sea gull untill it knocked it down in the feild along my house and the sea gull let out one heck of a noise when the eagle landed on top of it.

I thought it was an eagle but obviously it's a Seattle Seahawk! Nice pic!
