My aunt down in adel Oregon did the same thing to a mule deer buck, it would even hang around on the porch all year, disappear around modern season and then come back by the end. Made it 4 years! Someone dropped him just off the property.

Who is your aunt? My whole family is from adel, my cousin jymme owns the store.

I saw a doe out of Chewelah that was someone's pet deer.  Saw it run across the road a hundred or so yards in front of the jeep.  As we drove by we looked out in the field expecting to see the deer....nothing.  Look at the house and the doe is chillin on the porch with a guy standing right next to it.

Mule deer at our cabin on the snake checking out opening day buck.

Looks like that buck that had the video of it with the powdered donut on his fork!

Hey that's a great idea...I'll put up a tree stand and wait for a buck to walk under it and throw an orange vest on him so he will be easier to find come fall  :chuckle:

That's a great idea. Honestly, the colorful additions to them toe would attract more attention and make them easier to spot. :dunno:
