Foxpro Wildfire 2
« on: November 03, 2014, 01:53:03 PM »
Anyone have any first hand experience with this caller? I've used a real old E caller the last few years with minimum success calling in dogs. In the excitement of joining a team for Coyote Madness for the first time I ordered the Wildfire 2 off of amazon. Any opinions good or bad? Thanks in advance!

No experience with that one, but my FoxPro Scorpion has been bullet-proof!  Don't know why they don't offer it more.  It's so nice and compact...
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I have been using one for 2 years now. It is holding up ok. Its light and loud enough for most hunting situations. My remote just recently started turning on about 30 seconds after I turn it off. Now I have to pull the battery. Haven't contacted FoxPro yet. Overall I would buy it again.

Played a lot with them an they seem to be sold callers. They do have lower grade controller but they work fine if you under stand that.

Right on, thanks for the responses guys. I received my caller in the mail yesterday and tinkered a little with it in the garage. Can't wait!

I just got one for when I'm tired of calling for bears. I took it out in the back 40 at home when I got it and called in a coyote in a couple minutes. Pretty fun to see him looking away at the caller instead of directly at me.

Mine has the same issue though, the remote turns back on when I turn it off. I'll have to send it back to get it fixed.
