My Peaches Ridge Elk
« on: November 03, 2014, 04:19:03 PM »
The picture is a little blurry but it will have to do.  We hunted this guy for 2 days before we got a look at him.  I  got him at 5 PM and got the first two of 7 pack loads back to camp at 11 PM.  Went in the next day and and brought the rest out.  Had about 1 1/4 mile pack up hill to the road.  Not too bad for a couple of Senior Citizens! I want to thank my hunting partner Bob who helped so much on this hunt.

Awesome bull and story of getting it out of the woods, way to go, you are only as old as you think you are.  It is good to know I can keep doing this for a long time.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
