Deer Hunting Clubs or Ranch
« on: November 04, 2014, 03:19:28 PM »
Can anyone recommend a private deer hunting club or ranch in Eastern WA?

I am looking for a self-guided, members only, fee-type of club. It would have to be somewhere with access to private owned and leased land.  It is very difficult to search them out online. I am only finding guided hunting clubs.

Any information is much appreciated, as well as any contact information or email of a land owner who allows access to his/her property for a fee.

If you prefer to reply with a personal message, please don't hesitate.

Thank you all in advance.

Washington to my knowledge does not have deer ranches, so you are basically looking for fee for access private land that is still going to be regulated according to the rules of the state.

Those guides you are finding are going to be your best bet for information especially this late in the game.

Thanks for the replies.

I was turned on to this website from a hunting buddy of mine who had just drawn the slide ridge tag. I used to be a member of a private hunting ranch in SE Washington for 15 years until the farmer got very sick. The past couple of years I have been hunting public land mostly in the Entiat and Chiwawa units.  I shot a real nice buck in Mills Canyon on a tag I drew several years back. What I have found recently is hunting general season is a lot tougher due to high volumes of people. That is why I am actively trying to find another person or place that allows people to hunt on their private land for a fee.

This year I got to enjoy a nice bowl of tag soup. What I am hoping for is to line something up for next year. Many times spots on clubs become available and I wanted to put some feelers out to potentially grab a spot.  It is also very important that the area is free range.

Again I appreciate everyone's feedback.

Cboom- thanks for the good laugh. I figured you were joking. Just some friendly new forum hazing. Lol

I was looking for the $500-1000 range. The club I was on was $550 but the bucks down there were called "bench bucks" and were a cross breed between Mule deer and black tail. In 15 years I had not seen one taken above 165. (Goldendale, Wa GMU 382) I am from Chelan county.

I put in for points out of state each year, but I was trying to locate another home territory hunting area.
