Congratulations Bob, what a trophy! Full body, pedestal, or shoulder?

Approximately how much would your RAM weigh on the hoof? That's a real good pic with the crew!

I have no clue. But I bet Ric Shirrod would know. (Elkstuffer)

Maybe he'll chime in if he sees this thread, probably not until tomorrow I'd guess.

A mature Cali Bighorn from this area will run 200-225 lbs with 30 lbs of that being horn.

Congratulations Bob on a great ram. One of the best "under pressure" shots I've seen on a ram. Especially with me barking in your ear saying "you have to shoot NOW!!!"
It was a great day with some great guys and I finally got to meet the "LEGENDARY" Billy the Kid Rock!  :)

so there must of been 9 rams chasing one ewe yesterday morning :chuckle:. I bet those 8 others are glad they don't have to compete with him anymore.

I knew they would go very far after I told you where I seen them Tuesday. That bowl is one of my favorite spots up there.

Congratulations  that's a great ram, one can only imagine how many times he clashed heads with his fellow rams, he's  a true warrior and a great trophy.

I bet you do Nick. It wasn't far from where you took your ram.

Ok why do you guys take pictures holding the rams testicals?  :dunno:

I don't think this question has been answered.

I did not take the picture, but I think it's because of the enormous size.  :yike:

It's just something that needs to be shared with others who are not so fortunate to see them in person.    :)

I took it special for HW because I knew it would make some people wonder "what the heck".
